BOTOX

Botox®, also known as Vistabel, acts to relax local muscles such as those which create frown lines or crows feet. Botox is widely used for wrinkle reduction leaving you with a natural, youthful and refreshed appearance.

For over 12 years this procedure has been used safely and successfully for wrinkle therapy and as very small quantities are injected, the pain is minimal.

Initially, a thorough assessment of the facial wrinkles is carried out to determine the exact areas (muscles) that require Botox injection. Botox is then injected into the required muscles using a tiny micro needle. Following the treatment with Botox, the skin over the muscles remains smooth and even. The effects of Botox usually last for four to six months. The effects fade gradually, at which point wrinkling begins to reappear and you may return for renewed treatment. Generally, with repeated injections, the effects last longer and the frequency of injections gets lesser.

DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers smooth wrinkles to rejuvenate the appearance. The treatment gives the mouth a fuller form, Lips have a greater volume and Cheek and chin dimples can be filled out to enhance your facial contour. They are also used to correct a variety of wrinkles (such as nasolabial folds, which are the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth).

The fillers are injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts by an ultra fine needle, resulting in minimal discomfort to give a smooth natural look. The procedure is simple and convenient and results are practically instantaneous. Typically, the results can last 6 to 9 months so don’t forget to book your top up treatments.

The dermal fillers used are extremely safe. We use restylane and perlane depending on the client’s needs. Both are safe and natural; they are made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. The difference between Restylane and Perlane is the size of the particle (with Perlane containing larger particles than restylane). This means that Perlane does a better job of filling deep lines, while Restylane is used in fine lines or in thin skinned people. Perlane is, therefore, an excellent treatment for wrinkle correction, lip enhancement, smile lines and deep folds.
